Each provider is bound by a written contract that requires them to protect your information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
Your personal information may be processed outside your country, including in South Africa. You can request a copy of these clauses by contacting support@bisimbi.com.
Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. When you close your account, your business details and verification documents are deleted within 30 days. Billing records, transaction logs, quotes, and messages are retained for up to 5 years from the transaction date to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations. System and usage logs are kept for no longer than 12 months for security purposes.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa or your local data protection authority. You can close your account yourself from your account page.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and isolated storage for sensitive verification documents. While no online service is completely immune to attacks, we will notify you and the relevant regulator if a data breach occurs, as required by law.
We will post any changes on this page and notify you of material updates. If you disagree with a material change, you may close your account before the change becomes effective.
